i’ve had to go to the dentist two days in a row now, today being the second, and the left side of my mouth is without feeling. i find it strange that i’m being charged 80 bucks per visit and only staying for an hour and my teeth don’t look any cleaner. if i didn’t know any better, i’d say that i was getting ripped off. i’m ALWAYS getting ripped off. thanks a lot money gods.

the tour planning is coming together, but there’s a lot of other stuff going down, too. we have to be out of our place in hermosa by august 15th, and we just found out that it costs around 1500 bucks (more, actually) to rent a u-haul to bring to seattle, but it only costs about 250 bucks to bring it down from there. capitalism really pisses me off sometimes.

so i’ve got about 4 days to finish packing all my stuff and taking it to a storage unit that i have yet to find, and then i’m driving up north to spend a week at my parents’ house. i plan on taking it over and making its vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors my recording studio. i’m planning on recording about eight songs while i’m there, and rick’s designing the cover.

the last thing i’m looking for, is a band to play on september 18th in seattle. i’ve got a place all lined up, now i just need someone to play. if you know anyone that’d be interested, let me know.

still debating on whether or not i’m going to take the laptop on tour, seeing as we’ll be on the bus most of the time and i don’t have it insured, i’m afraid someone’s gonna get their greedy little paws on it and haul off my 2000 life with them. judging by my luck these days, it’s bound to happen. buy me a wi-fi or cell phone pda (t-mobile compatible) and i’ll bring that instead and i’ll update everyday.

today was my last day at work. now, i enjoy a few weeks of freedom and working on the new record before embarking on…

a month-long tour across the top of the states and back. once we get all the dates confirmed, i’ll post them here, but as it is right now, here’s the tentative schedule.
